A non-dairy creamer has to do what milk does — deliver mouthfeel and a whitening effect — while dispersing quickly and never separating out as oil. The stabiliser system is what makes that possible.
Non-dairy creamers are precisely built free-flowing powders or liquids intended to replace milk or cream in coffee and other drinks. They are increasingly the default choice on economics and shelf life, provided the protein layer holds.
The stabilisers we supply
We stock Dipotassium Phosphate (DKP) and Sodium Tripolyphosphate (STPP). In short: DKP is the key to stabilising both dairy and non-dairy coffee creamers, with STPP supporting the buffer system.

Dipotassium Phosphate (DKP) A soluble buffer for casein-based creamers. It holds pH where milk protein stays stable, which is what prevents feathering in imitation coffee creamers — and it is preferred for its neutral flavour.
Why DKP over STPP STPP also buffers and improves protein stability, but DKP is more soluble and brings buffering against coagulation that STPP does not. Most formulations use both; the ratio is formulation-specific.
An emulsifier too DKP's emulsifying behaviour lets it hold otherwise incompatible substances together — the dairy-adjacent applications where fat and water have to stay mixed.
What stability looks like DKP stabilises the protein layer around the fat droplets, preventing syneresis and curdling when creamer meets hot, acidic coffee or tea.
